Sculptra Aesthetic - Fill in Wrinkles and Lines and Look Younger in Minutes

Sculptra Aesthetic is another type of dermal filler made from poly-L-lactic-acid used to rejuvenate facial features and fill in deep lines and wrinkles. Patients can temporarily reverse the signs of aging with the right injection technique and application.

Sculptra Aesthetic is a suitable solution for the following problem areas:

Sculptra Aesthetic

  • Nasolabial folds that form between the nose and mouth
  • Deep smile lines and marionette lines that form around the mouth
  • Wrinkles around the chin

Why Sculptra Aesthetic?

The aging process makes our appearance look lack-luster and gaunt, as we lose the collagen, the main component that maintains our youthful features. As we get older, gravity pulls our faces down and deep lines and wrinkles begin to form. Sculptra Aesthetic can make you look younger and more refreshed, and replace the collagen lost with time and age.

What is Sculptra Aesthetic?

Sculptra Aesthetic is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic is manufactured by Sanofi Aventis. This synthetic polymer based material is used to fill in facial lines and creases in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. This product is used by trained physicians and loved by patients, because it helps smooth out wrinkles and add mass to lost or depleted skin tissue. The results last between three to six months.

Aesthetic results and longevity may vary per patient, skin type, age and severity of wrinkles and dermal elasticity.

Sculptra Aesthetic Side Effects and Risks

Sculptra Aesthetic is nominally invasive, and like most dermal fillers, the momentary pain is well worth the gain. Once it is injected, the results are noticed immediately - wrinkles and time are erased within minutes. Dermal injections have minor side effects, which include minimal pain, swelling, redness and bleeding (per injection site). The injection stings a bit - is just like getting a shot or vaccine, then in a "pinch" it feels better. There may be some swelling and/or bruising on or around the injection site for 24-48 hours.

Sculptra Aesthetic should not be used on patients who allergic to any ingredient in the product or who have a medical history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring.

Patients who have skin conditions, herpes outbreaks or skin infections should not use Sculptra Aesthetic until after outbreak or infections are healed.

This product may cause small lumps, inflammation and swelling at the injection site. Individual results will vary. If noticeable lumps and consistency persist after one week, contact your clinician or cosmetic surgeon.

For the best results, find a trained professional or physician who is experienced with the Sculptra Aesthetic product.
